Taxpayers may also visit any one of the RITA's offices in Brecksville, Cleveland Heights, Worthington, Xenia or Youngstown and drop off either a completed tax return or uncompleted tax documents in a secure RITA drop box. Drop boxes are available 24/7 and located outside of each office. RITA's Mentor office location also has a drop box located inside the Mentor Municipal Center and is accessible during the hours of 8 am and 5 pm., Monday through Friday. RITA asks individuals using the drop box service to complete the Municipal Income Tax Drop-Off Sheet
or provide contact information with the dropped-off documents. All returns that are e-filed, postmarked or dropped off by April 15th will avoid late filing penalties.
