New Phone System

RITA will be replacing its current phone system with a new phone system adding features to better serve our taxpayers.
Transferring to the new phone system is scheduled for Thursday, January 18th starting at 5:15 pm.
There may be interruptions in service for a few hours while the upgrades are taking place.
RITA’s new system will be able to assist callers by providing enhanced self-service features! Our new system now offers the following enhancements:

Automated speech recognition so that callers can press telephone keys or make their choices using their voice.

Tax Preparer shortcut menu allowing access to multiple accounts without needing to log in and out multiple times.

Check real time account balance.

Check payment history and estimated payments including pending payments.

Check refund status and whether or not the IRS has levied a portion of the refund.

Make payments by credit card (Individual Accounts only) or ACH for all account types.

Request a payment plan.

Request tax forms.
